Job Summary
AlgoShack is looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Python and Selenium to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation frameworks, test execution, and reporting, with experience in testing medical or embedded software being a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results, ensuring accurate reporting and defect tracking
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and testing needs
- Implement and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines where applicable
- Identify automation candidates and contribute to improving test coverage and efficiency
- Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards, especially in regulated environments
- Maintain test artifacts, documentation, and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Up to 5 years of experience in test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Selenium
- Solid understanding of automated test execution and reporting
- Experience in UI testing, API testing, and database (DB) testing
- Good understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in testing medical devices, healthcare applications, or embedded systems
- Exposure to regulated environments and formal verification processes
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
