About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Retail & E-commerce applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and experience testing customer-facing web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and User Stories.
- Design, review, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT Testing.
- Test web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Validate complete e-commerce customer journeys including:
- User Registration & Login
- Product Search & Filters
- Product Detail Page (PDP)
- Shopping Cart
- Wishlist
- Checkout Process
- Coupon & Discount Validation
- Payment Gateway Integration
- Order Confirmation
- Order Tracking
- Returns & Refunds
- Verify API responses using tools like Postman (basic knowledge preferred).
- Log, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Business Teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Prepare Test Summary Reports and Release Sign-off documentation.
